Book recommendation

Came across a great book on collaborative filtering. Its called Collective Intelligence by Toby Segaran and is an excellent introduction to the field - very clear, especially for the non-mathematican.

I totally agree! I am super interested in the field and the higher level reasoning behind the approaches, but do not have the mathematics background to implement or derive such formulas. This book really is a great place to start and gets the ideas flowing.
